Our Arset dry kveik yeast strain doesn't have the fruitiness of many of the other strains while not being neutral as Skare or Oslo. This would make a lovely English mild where you need a little more fruitiness than a clean ale yeast.
Strain #: 13
Variety: Arset
Attenuation: 70 - 78%
Ferment: 16 - 35℃
Pitch: 28℃
Phenolic: No
Bacteria: No
Each of our kveik satchets contain 2g of dried yeast - enough to ferment a standard 23L batch. You will receive instructions on building a starter to help prevent lag time and allow enough leftover yeast for ongoing future brews.
We take great pride to ensure each kveik batch we produce is live and authentic to its origin.
All orders will be shipped with tracking within 3 days to anywhere in Australia.

Why We Need Your Information and How we Use It
We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for our mailing list or posting a review to our Esty shop;

We use your information to provide the services you requested and in our legitimate interest to improve our services; and 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. We use your information as necessary to comply with our obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Information about our customers is important to our business. We share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
Etsy. We share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you our services and comply with our obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
Service providers. We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to our shop, such as delivery companies. We will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
Business transfers. If we sell or merge our business, we may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.
Compliance with laws. We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce our agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, or others.

We generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.
Transfers of Personal Information Outside of Your Jurisdiction
We may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US, Australia and other jurisdictions. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If we are deemed to transfer information about you outside of your jurisdiction, we rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer.
Your Rights
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. We describe these rights below:
Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the contact information below.
Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict our use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where we are required to store data for legal reasons) we will generally delete your personal information upon request.
Object. You can object to (i) our processing of some of your information based on our legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from us after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, we will delete your personal information unless we have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
It generally takes us between 1 and 3 business days to process and ship your order. This may extend slightly during public holidays and the Christmas / New Year season.
Your kveik yeast packs will be posted to you as a Domestic Letter with Tracking. Orders of larger quantities may be sent as Parcel Post.
The postal service has been quite slow since the pandemic and things are taking longer than expected to be delivered. Please keep an eye on your tracking number to follow the progress of your delivery. If you do not receive your kveik yeast order don't worry, we won't leave you stranded. We'll work with Australia Post to get your order to you and if they can't help we'll either refund or ship a replacement to you at no additional cost.
So long as we haven't processed and packed your order we are more than happy to make changes for you or cancel & refund your order.
Yes! We're always on the lookout to bring new kveik strains to Australians, so we're happy to help when we can. It just might take us a little while from sourcing to supply.
We don't yet have the capacity to supply commercial quantities of kveik yeast to breweries. We sure would love to though!
No, we only ship within Australia at this time. But we are looking at ways to make international shipping available in future and, in the meantime, we encourage you to NOT use a freight forwarder to ship internationally due to the nature of the product and customs policies. If you still choose to ship to an overseas address using a freight forwarder we are unable to refund or replace your order if it gets destroyed by customs or otherwise does not arrive. Sorry!
